The House of Hope Domestic Crisis Shelter is an emergency shelter program located in Douglas, Arizona. The shelter provides shelter, food, clothing, case management, advocacy, children\'s programs, and transportation to appointments for women who are victims of domestic violence and their children.

The primary goals of the program is to provide women a safe environment to make positive changes in their lives and becomes empowered to make decisions for themselves. The shelter staff participates in community projects, belong to community groups, and provide community awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault.

The program has participated in special projects with the Governor\'s Office to provide needs assessment and gaps in service identification for battered immigrant women. The House of Hope is the lead program in the county wide multidisciplinary task force for domestic violence and sexual assault.

The House of Hope is expanding to provide better community based programs in Douglas as well as surrounding communities.
