I would love to volunteer my time to help Your organization. I have women’s clothing to donate and can also help with tutoring of any kind on my spare time. I have a bachelors in marketing and a masters as well. I am bilingual in Spanish if that helps as well. My specialty is helping women build confidence and budgets, finances, tutoring their children or themselves as well if need me. I don’t have many hours, as I work , but would love to stop by and see how I can contribute. I’ve written before asking to volunteer seems like I never get a response. Hope this is shelter is different. Seems everyone is just interested in a check and not actual hours, donations and help to make a difference in something I feel very passionate about.

I am living in an apartment with my two kids (under the age of 5) thier father and his mother. A couple years ago before my youngest was born I was going through a rough patch and relapsed into drugs and alcohol. Needless to say I was taken to court and had my daughter taken away and temporary custody was given to her father. I was able to get clean and ended up having another baby(same dad). I never went back to family court (like I was instructed by the courts so that I could start visitations and reunification) I assumed that the abuse I endured before was my fault because of my addiction and alcolisim but since I've moved into this new apartment I have bee. Repeatedly abused by my kids father and his mother. I want to get out of here and I need help. I keep thinking I can control this and keep things cool until I get to court and get custody back of my daughter( I still have full custody of my baby though) but it's getting worse and I don't know how I can leave without jepordizing my daughter as well.
