I have been to the shelter couple of times. I am an outreach social worker and I have seen people drop off food donations and clothing at this center and I have been interviewing women that are living there; the donations that people drop off the owner is taking them to a warehouse they have separately only to be taken to be sold individually for the owners profit and also they are taken to Juarez. Mothers that are with children in there are not receiving the care nor the basic resources to survive they are lacking food, the one they serve there is expired, clothing all the donations are being taken and sold separately. What is going on there? because I have received numerous complaints this is why I’m writing to you. This needs and will be made public. All this abuse and neglect needs to be stopped, women and children go from on abuse to another.
