Food Rescue Express,started in 1998. The purpose is to help need individuals and familes who are going thorugh temporary hard times. We are a food bank/food distribution program. We volunteer our services. We pick up and deliver the food for free and inspect it before delivery. We make sure that they receive a few balance meals. We live in a wealthy area but that does not mean the working people have hard times, whether it be medical insurance, laid off from work, social security check late or child support. What ever reason we are here for them. We are available 365 days a year. Toni Berns, Managing Director, her GrandParents started a soup kitchen during the Depression and has continued the caring and helping of others.
