These counties are Barbour, Bullock, Coffee, Dale, Geneva, Henry, Houston and Pike.































In-Shelter Services:   































24 hour crisis hotline: 1-800-650-6522 or in the Dothan calling area: 334-793-2232    Safe shelter with a bed capacity of 17 bed spaces, however no one is ever turned away due to a lack of bed space    Information on the dynamics of domestic violence and sexual assault    Individual and group supportive counseling    Self-help and life skills educational programs    Case planning and case management    Information and referral to existing community agencies    Assistance in filing Alabama Crime Victims Compensation and follow-up application    Advocacy including court and hospital accompaniment    Basic necessities; food, clothing, personal hygiene supplies, etc    Transportation to and from work in the Dothan area and appointments    Tutorial Services for children    Children's Group (group counseling for children - 4 hours weekly)    Legal information and advocacy    Support group for battered/formerly battered women    Support group for survivors of sexual assaultOut Of Shelter Services:
