Jubilee Womens Center

Since 1983, Jubilee Womens Center has supported women as they heal and transition out of poverty and homelessness.

Jubilees three community-living residences, located in Capitol Hill and the University District of Seattle, provide a safe, affordable and dignified environment for 42 women, including pregnant women experiencing homelessness.

Guided by a care manager, each Jubilee resident sets goals for growth and development and works to address the complex issues that caused her homelessness.

Jubilee is also a critical resource for 1,500 additional low-income women each year, providing job readiness and financial management classes, technology and life skills training, an open computer lab, community service referrals, and a free clothing boutique.

More information and an application are available on their website, via phone, or at their main Capitol Hill office during business hours (M/F 9-5, Tu/W/Th 9-6).

A homeless woman friend is staying with me. She needs a place to go. Do you have anything available. She has two cats that she cannot part with.

Need a place to stay for awhile that I can sleep for few hour and shower. I don't have a car or family member or friends. So I can look for work. I should kill myself.

To the suicidal woman, please trust Jesus Christ! He will sustain you through this all and we'll give you a wonderful reward for never committing self-murder and never giving up! I've been there I understand but you must never give up! Keep your eyes on Jesus
