Marian House was founded in 1982 by the Sisters of Mercy and the School Sisters of Notre Dame in response to a community need. Marian House is a holistic, healing community for women and their families who are in need of housing and support services. We provide a safe, loving environment that challenges women to respect and love themselves, confront emotiional and socio-economic barriers, and build stable and productive lives. The goal of our services is to enable Marian House residents, women who have suffered poverty, addiction, abuse, mental illness or incarceration, to achieve emotional and economic independence.
