The Minnesota Philharmonic is an all volunteer symphony orchestra, organized to serve the musical needs of both its audiences and members. Membership consists of gay men, lesbians, bisexuals, transgender individuals and those sensitive to that community. Our primary objectives are: 1. Education-to strengthen the playing abilities of its members and to increase the musical knowledge of its audiences. 2. Entertainment-to provide high quality arts entertainment for residents of the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota. 3. Musicianship-to maintain a high artistic standard. 4. Affirmation-to present the talents and capabilities of GLBIT musicians to the public at large.
