Domestic Violence is also called Intimate Partner Violence.

Helpmate works with their community to eliminate abuse and fear by providing safety, shelter, and support for people who have been victimized by domestic violence.

They provide services such as Emergency shelter, Individual and group counseling, Court advocacy and a 24 Hour hotline: (828) 254-0516.

Could someone please contact me at my email address? I am the Chapter President of the Western NC Chapter of the Pajama Program. The Pajama Program provides new pajamas and new books to children living in emergency shelters. I would like to bring on Helpmate to receive new pjs and books. Hi, Is there a place/program that needs items for women in crisis. Backpack, purses, decent clothes, towels, etc. or is it best to just donate to Salvation Army or similar. Thank you for your time and information.
