The mission of Open Door is to meet basic needs and empower low income persons in the Chattahoochee Valley and surrounding areas. Open Door Community House, Inc. was established in 1935 to assist low-income people in our community with basic food and clothing needs. Throughout the years, the ministry focus has shifted from emergency funding to advocacy, housing, clothing and education in an effort to assist people in becoming self sufficient and maintaining employment and permanent housing.
