Our mission is to create positive lasting change in the lives of youth and young adults through strength-based services. Our vision is: Healthy youth and young adults being nurtured in family and community environments. We know that housing programs in Minneapolis serve dozens of homeless youth from our service area each year. One of our goals is to create services in the south metro that will keep youth in their communities, where they are most likely to receive the support of friends and family.p> Safe Haven Shelter For Youth, was founded in 1995, on the philosophy that our society means well in wanting to preserve the safety and future of our youth, but there is an immediate need to help those youth who have lost faith, hope, and have a great need for love.
