The Union Center for Women is the oldest community based, independent women's center of its kind in the United States. We receive no outside funding at this time and exist upon the collection of membership dues, workshop and support group fees and donations, along with tireless fundraising by our all-volunteer Evaluation Board. Women are trained at our Center to become Peer support group leaders and learn active listening skills and other skills, which empower them to change their lives for the better.
