I'm not sure what to say.I've left a toxic marriage and only have a few days to find somewhere to go. I've been a stay at home mom and always depended on my husband to take care of us ,such as it was, I have no car no job no money and no family that are any position to help me for they are barely making it themselves. I'm looking for a place that is as close to my family as I can get. I have a 15 month old little girl who is my world. It is because of her that I have left my husband and home. She doesn't need or deserve to be in the middle of the mess that was our home life.

The staff has clearly had no sensitivity training and are verbally abusive to their “clients”. During my stay at the Bethany House I felt like I was in jail. They have lots of over bearing rules. The second you stand up for yourself against the abuse you are told to leave if you don’t like their rules. They use cameras to watch your every move. They treat you like you are a child. They tell you what to and when to do it. You basically are leaving your abuser to go there and be abused by them. Also, they care more about how clean their damn place is then they do about the clients. While staying there I worked a 13 hour shift then when I got on I was asked to mop 2 sections of the floor. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
