The mission of St. Vincent de Paul is to help their neighbors in need.
They provide this help in many ways: nutrition offered through their busy customer-choice Food Pantry; prescription assistance through:
our Charitable Pharmacy;
vouchers for furniture, clothing and household items provided through their stores;
and housing programs for men and for women and children transitioning from homelessness.
Their Society’s members – in 18 groups around the county – visit the homes of people requesting their help to see how they can bring their resources to bear to help people who are poor, suffering or deprived.
“The District Council of Madison, Inc., Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a Catholic lay organization in which members join together in friendship to grow spiritually by providing person-to-person services to our neighbors in need. ”
