Southern Valley Alliance for Battered Women's mission is to assist victims of domestic abuse. They proudly serve Scott County, Minnesota and Carver County, Minnesota. They are set up to assist victims of domestic violence in exploring the medical, legal and social service options available to them. They listen to a victim's needs and encourage them to make their own decisions. An advocate stands ready to help her in meeting those needs by accompanying them through the various medical, legal and social service alternatives they choose. They welcome victims of any race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, national origin, affectional preference, age, marital status, physical challenge or status with regard to public assistance.
