Compassion House is a transitional shelter for homeless women and women with children.

More than just a shelter, Compassion House provides case management, classes, and resources to help women obtain stable employment and suitable housing.

A typical stay is about 3 months.

I have recently retired and have some very nice clothes to donate. Sizes 6 and 8. I tried to call the number in the computer and was told I could not be connected. If you can use these very nice items, please let me know.

Lost job because I lost my child care and have just switched companies I was working for. Due to Covid-19 I even lost the temporary employment I had obtained to make ends meet. I need a place to stay but even worse I again wont be able to start the new job I obtained and start on the 20th if I can find childcare or a place to live and at the moment I have no money.

I have some wonderful new (with tags) clothing as well as lightly used ones to donate. I also have new household items… comforters..etc. As a DV survivor myself, I am passionate about helping.
