Haven Of Lake And Sumter Counties

Haven is one of Florida's 42 Certified Domestic Violence Centers.































































Haven is now providing no cost Sexual Assault Services for Citrus County.































































































































Outreach counseling is available in both Lake & Sumter Counties.































































Transitional living is available to those victims requiring longer term physical and/or emotional healing.































































Legal Advocacy provides victims with referrals and/or legal representation in cases of protective injunctions, child custody and/or support and other legal issues.































































The advocate can also help secure financial assistance and restitution under the Victims of Crime Act.































































































































Children's Services provides counseling, advocacy, and/or referrals for children through 17 years of age, who are victims of, or witness to domestic and/or sexual abuse, Group counseling and Positive Parenting sessions are available for caregivers of these children to assist in dealing with and caring for troubled kids.































































































































Male victims of domestic violence may also receive Haven services.































































Their Domestic Violence services are available to ALL their clients FREE of charge.

    As the user above, I too have some very nice pieces of clothing, used---but in excellent condition and would like to donate to a woman's shelter rather than a thrift store that sells the items. Please let me know where and when I could drop them off. I would prefer Leesburg area first then any other shelter near-by. Thank you

    we are new to the area and have about 20 pair of shoesm womens 8-9 wide, office working shoes, that I have really never worn. I would like to donate then to a facility that assists women with empolyment assistance job interviews.
