I was wondering if you have any openings for my 2 kids and I. I've been raped and beaten. And am looking for income restricted housing or low income. If you can help please let me know.

I have left an abusive relationship in Ok. I've been homeless since the end of May and I'm currently in my 3rd week of training at my job plus my housing sec 8 was ported to slc under the Violence against women act. I have been approved for an apt and deposit assistance but I am not sure if my apt will be ready next week or if it'll take longer SLCHA will need to do an inspection plus the grant for my deposit also requires an additional inspection. The apt is newly renovated so I'm not worried about it passing bit I'm trying to hold a job whole living out of my car with my service dog. Is there any temp rooms that you know of that I can secure as soon as possible? Thank you for your help.

Everyone was kind and welcoming except for the director. She never smiled, our first interaction was her in my face telling me the kitchen was closed at 10pm. Even though I had just picked up my daughter as she got off work and was hungry. I mostly stayed in my room. My caseworker seemed to be new and took forever to get my TANF to get into an apartment.
