I have never stayed at a shelter before but it's looking like I may actually have to go to one, I have 3 kids though. How does that work? Does the state try to take kids if you go to a shelter?

I have been knitting/needlework for many years...downsizing now and need a good place to donate a lot of unused yarn and needles. Also a bit of colthing/a few furniture pieces.

What are you needing donated right now. I have decluttered dishes and clothes from a family of 6. I would like to give you whatever can help before I take stuff to Goodwill.

I came in after having no food available to me for 3 days. My water and electric will be off any day and they told me they had NOTHING for me. I would not beg unless truly needing to for this is very depressing and shameful when I’ve worked, volunteered my entire life.
