The YWCA South Hampton Roads is a source of strength, courage, and empowerment for women and families facing crisis.
Their programs provide quality services responding to: the critical needs of survivors of sexual violence and domestic violence, young women seeking direction, the need for quality and affordable childcare, and opportunities to work collaboratively to eliminate racism in the community.
They operate the domestic violence shelter for the city of Norfolk, and also provide other crisis services such as hospital accompaniment, a 24/7 hotline, victim advocacy, and counseling.
If you are in imminent danger, please call their hotline at 757-251-0144.
“YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. ”
