Su Casa Family Crisis & Support Center

Su Casa's original founder is Petra Medelez.

In 1976, Petra fled an abusive marriage.

Finding refuge at a woman's center, Petra and her children began a new life free from violence.

In 1979, she opened a crisis and hotline service and a 30-day crisis shelter, later receiving non-profit status in 1980.

Since then, Su Casa has grown and expanded its services to include a Transitional Shelter, a Teen Outreach Program, Outreach Services, and a Thrift Store, all in an effort to aid victims and survivors of domestic violence and to educate about the prevalence and prevention of domestic violence.

I have new/gently used clothing I would like to donate directly to the shelter. I would prefer that it not be sold but given to women/girls in need. Can I accomplish that thru your organization?

I would like to volunteer. I was once in a toxic, destructive relationship and I am a survivor. I am ready to dedicate some days to volunteering.
